If you have ever even touched other games, you know that there is always, without question, a strong desire to max everything. It’s just the way it is. But there’s another thing Rival Kingdoms stands out for. You don’t need to max out everything in this game.
Rival Kingdoms is primarily a game of offense. It is focused on offense, not so much on defense. The way matching works, higher level strongholds will get to fight lower level strongholds at the beginnings of their streaks, is the reason you will more often lose than win when you are on the defending side. So, it is a wise choice to focus more on making your offense powerful, rather than your defense.
But, take this with a grain of salt. Just because you should focus on offense, doesn’t mean you should completely give up on defense. It is just not smart to have the highest level offense, and the lowest level defense. Just don’t put all your money into upgrading that stronghold. It should be powerful, but up to a point.
Of course, this is just a bit of advice. Everybody has an opinion, and if you think maxing out your stronghold is the way to go, it’s the way to go. At least for you. Focusing on offense should be a more lucrative move, but having a powerful defense can do nice things too. Anyway, it really depends on your personal style.
If you are man/women who likes high walls, upgrade that stronghold. If you are more towards cloak and dagger, or axe and sword, master that offense. Whatever you like, it’s the right choice.
